The Nepean Hospital in the Blue Mountains is undergoing a $1 billion redevelopment divided in two stages. As part of Stage 1, a multi-storey car park was built and a 14-storey clinical tower is currently under construction. Stage 2 is at the planning phase.
ptc. has been engaged by NSW Health Infrastructure (HI) and other parties (CBRE and CPB Contractors) in Stages 1 and 2 to provide parking and traffic engineering advice, including:
- Evaluation of car park options;
- Parking demand studies;
- Traffic impact assessment;
- Car park design;
- Construction traffic management plan (CTMP).
The car park added more than 600 spaces for use by patients, visitors and staff to the Nepean Hospital campus. Watch the video below for more details:
