Australian Parking Convention – guess who is coming to town?

A guest post from PCI Managing Partner Cristina Lynn

Dear Subscribers,

The Parking Association of Australia is organising its next biennial convention which will be held in Sydney (at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre) between 7th and 9th November 2010.

As the chair of the Organising Committee and Treasurer of the PAA I would like to invite you to participate at the Convention as a sponsor, exhibitor or delegate. The Convention is set to be the PAA’s biggest event ever and has already received significant support from a number of organisations in the industry.

We are also seeking professionals interested in presenting a case study or other practical experience they have had in their car park which they feel may be of benefit to the Convention delegates. A call for papers is also included in the Convention website so please put your name forward! The presentations will have no commercial content.

The Convention has its own website which you are strongly invited to visit on a regular basis for updates www.apc2010.com.au – register your interest there to ensure you are kept up to date with regular e-zines.

I am attaching a link to the Sponsorship and Exhibition Prospectus which you can review in order to determine whether your organisation is interested to participate in either of these ways. The website also contains information on how to register and take advantage of the Early Bird discounts.

We are securing the participation of international and local speakers who will address “hot” issues affecting your business and the high calibre of exhibitors will provide you with an opportunity to get information on the best and the latest developments in equipment, technology and systems. The Keynote Speaker will be Don Shoup, Professor of Urban Transport at UCLA and author of the book: ‘The High Cost of Free Parking‘.

Best regards
Cristina Lynn
