further action to try and combat the growing problem.

City of Holdfast Bay in Adelaide, South Australia, has recently purchased four hands
free mini video recorders/cameras to be used by their ‘General Inspectors’
while on patrol.

cameras, each the size of a pen placed on the officer’s uniform, can run for 2
hours non-stop and can be touch activated by the officer should an incident
arise. The intention is to provide the officers with support should issues
arise in dealing with the public, as well as to be used to monitor the
inspectors themselves and their interactions with the public.
