The World
Parking Symposium’s title is: “Why does Parking & Transportation Matter? The Future of Service
Delivery in the 21st Century” and will address selected issues in
urban parking, transportation, and planning. The World Parking Symposium will
showcase a wide range of presentations by speakers from around the
world. The keynote speaker will be David K. Foot, Professor Emeritus of
Economics at the University of Toronto. His interests lie in the
interrelationships between economics and
demographics and their implications for both private and public policies.
Cristina’s presentation will review some of the more important parking policies
being adopted in the larger cities in Australia.
