So where will these cars park? Monthly sales jumped nearly 80% year-on-year to 923,154 units in October 2009. China Passenger Association reported that in the first 10 months of 2009, sales of cars, sports-utility vehicles, minivans and multi-purpose vehicles surged nearly 52.4% over the same period last year, to nearly 8.08 million units. The association predicts full-year auto sales will grow by 44% (over last year) to 13.5 million, which would make China the world’s largest auto market in 2009.
