Georges River Council has developed an ambitious masterplan to make Beverly Hills Town Centre a future-ready precinct. This strategic planning initiative aims to revitalise the area while addressing current and future transport needs.
The masterplan was delivered in two phases: Phase 1 focused on establishing a vision and analysing opportunities and constraints. Phase 2 develops detailed strategy recommendations to guide the area’s sustainable growth. The project represents a significant investment in the community’s future, ensuring Beverly Hills can accommodate growth while maintaining liveability and accessibility.
ptc. assisted in shaping the transport strategy for Beverly Hills Town Centre across multiple engagements. We are currently engaged by Georges River Council to provide traffic engineering services for Phase 2 of the masterplan.
Our team conducted extensive assessment, including intersection surveys at 15 locations, to establish a thorough understanding of existing traffic and parking conditions. We analysed the traffic generation impacts of proposed developments and performed SIDRA modelling to ensure the road network could accommodate future growth.
Our involvement continues in collaboration with Gyde to update the masterplan. This phase focuses on optimising car park facilities within King George Road, with our team conducting traffic analysis using SIDRA modelling to develop solutions to balance parking needs with traffic flow efficiency.
