Australian Parking Convention – only 128 days to go!

The Australian Parking Convention is fast approaching with the event, scheduled for November 7-9, shaping up to be the biggest event hosted by the Parking Association of Australia.

The program of local and international speakers is almost finalised, with the Keynote Speaker none other than Professor Donald Shoup of UCLA, author of the best seller “The High Cost of Free Parking”. Professor Shoup will be joined from the Barbara Chance of Chance Management Advisors in Philadelphia, Muriel Hugosson from Sweden and Millie Yang from China. Their topics and those of the local speakers will be of interest to universities, airports, the property industry and local government, with specific issues in design, enforcement, reservation systems, ANPR and security to be addressed in various forums.

With all 60 booths all but sold, the APC is in the process of identifying opportunities for additional exhibition space to satisfy the strong demand from suppliers of products and services. For more information on the Convention, including detailed information on the event, the speaker program, sponsorship and exhibition opportunities, visit the Convention’s website  at apc2010.com.au

The full program will be posted in the next few days, so keep an eye on the APC website and the PCI blog for more information.
