Traffic solutions for Cranbrook’s campus evolution

Cranbrook School is a prestigious Anglican school for boys, catering for students from Pre-school to Year 12. The school operates across two campuses: the Senior School in Bellevue Hill and the Junior School in Rose Bay.

With a rich heritage and commitment to educational excellence, Cranbrook has undertaken significant infrastructure developments to enhance their facilities, including the construction of a new Centenary Building and an Aquatic and Fitness Centre.

ptc. has built an enduring partnership with Cranbrook School, providing expert traffic engineering services across multiple projects since 2015. Our initial engagement focused on reviewing and optimising traffic management arrangements at the Junior School, with particular attention to pick-up/drop-off procedures and their impact on the surrounding road network.

In 2017, our role expanded significantly when we were engaged to support the State Significant Development Application for major infrastructure upgrades at the Senior School. This included the demolition and reconstruction of the Centenary Building and the development of a new Aquatic and Fitness Centre. Our team delivered traffic and parking assessments and strategic advice to ensure these developments would integrate seamlessly with the existing urban environment.

Following the approval phase, ptc. was novated to Richard Crookes Constructions in 2020, continuing our involvement through the construction stage.

We currently provide ongoing expert advice for the Junior School, demonstrating our commitment to supporting Cranbrook’s evolving needs.
