Traffic and civil engineering expertise for Sydney’s emerging third CBD

traffic and civil engineering services for Liverpool Council

The Liverpool Civic Place Development represents a transformative $600 million investment in Sydney’s emerging “third CBD”. This ambitious mixed-use development is specifically designed to serve Liverpool’s fast-growing and increasingly diverse population.

The civic centre unfolds across two carefully planned stages, with Stage One featuring a commercial office tower, new Council Chambers and Offices, a public library, civic plaza, and childcare facility. Stage Two will add a 9-storey hotel and second commercial tower, creating a major hub that positions Liverpool as a significant metropolitan centre.

ptc. was engaged by Liverpool City Council and Built to deliver traffic and civil engineering services throughout Stage One, providing support from development application through to construction and project finalisation. Our technical expertise encompassed parking layout designs, detailed responses to conditions of consent, civil design solutions, and stormwater assessment.

We also managed critical infrastructure elements including WAD (Water Authority of NSW Approval to Dig) for watermain diversion and delivered detailed design for Public Domain Works on Terminus Street.
