The St Ives Botanica Care Community represents a significant investment in aged care infrastructure for Sydney’s Upper North Shore. This $80 million facility will provide 148 suites across a site formed by consolidating five residential lots, creating a purpose-built care community.
The care community will join Opal Healthcare’s extensive portfolio of 130+ facilities. Located in the leafy suburb of St Ives, the development is designed to meet the growing demand for quality aged care services in the region. The facility secured State Significant Development Approval in July 2025, marking an important milestone for the project.
ptc. was engaged by Midson Group on behalf of Opal Healthcare to deliver the traffic engineering components required for the State Significant Development Application. Our team documentation and design advice were developed to meet the specific requirements of this aged care facility, working within the framework of Ku-Ring-Gai Development Control Plan guidelines.
