New roundabout will deliver safe highway access to new regional hospital

The Eurobodalla Regional Hospital is transforming healthcare access for communities along NSW’s south coast. This $330 million development, strategically positioned on the Princes Highway near Moruya, will serve residents across the entire Eurobodalla Shire, from Narooma through to Batemans Bay. Construction began in March 2023 for this major investment in regional healthcare infrastructure, ensuring thousands of locals have access to modern medical services closer to home.

ptc. was engaged by Meinhardt-Bonacci on behalf of NSW Health Infrastructure to tackle the critical challenge of creating safe highway access by designing a new roundabout on the busy Princes Highway, coordinating with Transport for NSW under a Works Authorisation Deed.

Our civil engineering team handled the complex site preparation requirements, from detailed road and drainage systems to earthworks and grading. We developed essential project documentation including road alignment plans, erosion control strategies, stormwater management systems, and internal road networks.

When Multiplex came on board, we continued our involvement by preparing for construction drawings and supporting the project through design development, documentation, and commissioning phases.
