At ptc., projects succeed when strategic thinking meets real‑world practicality. We put senior advice up front and design with people in mind, so approvals arrive without surprises, designs remain buildable, and decisions stand up under stakeholder scrutiny.
We are strengthening that promise with the appointment of Dan Palmer as Head of Traffic, the addition of Penny Pan, Ahmed Ali and Harry Sadeghi, and the promotions of Musstafa Abdullah and Xavier Meurier.
Dan brings international experience across the UK, Asia and Africa, combined with a clear understanding of Australian conditions. His commercially attuned, strategic mindset helps our traffic team focus on what matters most to clients: early identification of approval risks, practical design decisions that connect analysis to delivery, and a balance of commercial goals, community outcomes and compliance. Working with Project Director Steve Wellman, Dan’s focus is simple. Keep projects moving beyond compliance with optimal alternatives that improve project outcomes.
We also welcome three specialists who expand our expertise:
- Penny Pan joins as a Senior Civil Engineer with experience in road design, stormwater drainage, pavements and water‑sensitive urban design.
- Ahmed Ali strengthens civil design with AutoCAD Civil 3D, road design and bulk earthworks capability.
- Harry Sadeghi brings transport planning, SIDRA modelling, intersection upgrades and advanced data analysis.
Growth at ptc. is also about creating space for our people to lead.
We are proud to recognise Musstafa Abdullah, now Senior Traffic Engineer, and Xavier Meurier, promoted to Traffic Engineer. Both have demonstrated their capacity to develop project ownership and sharpen delivery standards always with support of steady senior oversight.
While we grow, we aim to continue to offer high quality strategic advice anchored on our team skills and knowledge.
