UK rail commuters’ car parking charges on the increase


An article published last week in London highlighted
that the cost of parking at rail stations in the South-East of the country has
increased by up to 21 per cent over the past 12 months. You can read the somewhat indignant article here.

Clearly the principles of the European model described
in our previous blog do not work well in all situations – such as where
commuters are obliged to drive if they live too far away from the train
stations to either walk or cycle…..
